Lots of spoonies already on my no-pressure Spoonie Share Group always at the top of my closet 💕
poshmarkperk
@starbabyonline would you consider sharing this to your group. Just trying to get everyone tagged that I can. Glad to see someone is already trying to connect this community. I’ve only been on posh for 2 months but rush people group is who I feel called to serve.
poshmarkperk
@starbabyonline this is what I’ve posted to all my posh Facebook groups.
Poshers in pain. Please write down your closet name if you suffer from chronic pain, any auto immune related diseases, are trying to supplement Disability or can’t work for health reasons. I’m trying to create a master list for all of us to share each other’s stuff. It can be tough and sometimes you need a pick me up. This is the people group I feel called to support in the Posh community.
poshmarkperk
@starbabyonline “I collect auto immune diseases like handbags so I feel your pain. Pass this along and tag as many people as you can. As my business grows I’d like to come do home visits to help you take pics, organize death piles, iron/steam, thrift and help get your posh business in a better place to make money. You will have to tolerate my insanely cheeriness and possible singing while I work. (I can sing)
poshmarkperk
@starbabyonline This is my ministry and why I’m on posh, and to make a little money for my family as well. Share this and let’s reach as many of us sickies as we can!!!! as many of us sickies as we can!!!!
greekmama1
@mvoss6 I’m so sorry that you had to have surgery. I’m sure it was so painful. Good luck on going back to work. Why with all the ailments that you have aren’t you on disability? I’m just wondering? Love, Athanasia 💗🌸💗🌸
greekmama1
I have had many surgeries on my spine, neck and shoulders. I need 8 more surgeries on my spine. I have a birth defect of my spine. I also suffer from arthritis in my neck, hands and spine. I also have depression from my Parents deaths and severe migraines. It’s a great forum for us. I’m on disability. I cannot dress myself or drive. But I am blessed I’m not worse off than others. 💗💗💗
starbabyonline
@sarasmileshop LOL, I doubt you're going to do a home visit in Florida. There are quite a few spoonie groups on Posh. My group is not religion exclusive, so as much as I appreciate the tag, not going to share it on my inclusive group. Also, not a "sickie". I have illnesses. I am not my illnesses. Wishing you the best.
poshmarkperk
@starbabyonline my goal here is only to encourage and uplift other people who suffer from the same type of illness as me. I’m new to posh and have met so many who do this to supplement income. I didn’t know there were spoonie groups. I’m glad others are doing share lists. I didn’t see one so I thought I’d start. On the tag list I didn’t put anything religious so I don’t see why it would be a problem.
poshmarkperk
@starbabyonline but if you don’t feel comfortable I guess I can tag them or I can direct these people to your group. Only trying to get the word out and to help.
poshmarkperk

I guess I’m a little late to the party. 🤪 I’m @spooniesells - my real name is Jamie. I have Ehlers- Danlos syndrome, Chiari malformation, mast cell activation disorder, dysautonomia and several other conditions. I enjoy selling online because I can work on my terms. @sarasmileshop this is a WONDERFUL idea and I greatly appreciate it, I have Lupus and Raynauds. I worked for 17 years in law enforcement before being rear-ended by a drunk driver, that was the beginning of my journey with auto-immune disease and the end of my career. Online selling platforms allow me to continue to contribute to our budget and not feel so isolated. I would be thrilled to be added to your share list @ardysangel and to assist others in doing the same by sharing their closets!❤️
poshmarkperk
@ardysangel great. I have a ton of people to tag but my health has been awful, we’re moving to Maine and I’ve been a single mom of 3 for 5 weeks. 😱 my plates a little full. Lol!
ardysangel
@sarasmileshop oh I completely understand, my husband is a USMC DAV but deployed twice after my diagnosis, and both times the stress from deployment and handling our 4 babies would throw me into a flare-up. It’s never easy and it sucks when you want to do sooo much but a flare happens and you can only survive. Here’s to hoping this current flare won’t last long for you!

jodisjewelry
@jodisjewelry @nic39 @starbabyonline @silverfoxylady @debjross @ptl8 @briannastull. What an awesome idea for fellow spoonies 😘😘💕
starbabyonline
@jodisjewelry I've had something similar - a very loosely styled spoonie share group - in my closet for the past year or so. 😘
briannastull
@briannastull My name is Trish and I’m in KY. I started having problems wirh a rare disease years ago and was asked to retire early. Spent 10 years traveling sporadically and training teachers - when it worked for my illness. I Loved my career!! 3 years ago I had a stroke and even that became impossible. My daughter and I started Posh about that time.
briannastull
Sorry, I read through more and see most are sharing their health problems. I’ve been diagnosed with Adult Onset Henoch Schonlein Purpura. Kidney Failure, terrible Joint Pain, Heart Disease, Colitis. . . Going back to Mayo with my BF I met through @jodisjewelry and Poshmark in 2 weeks!
poshmarkperk
@starbabyonline How are you feeling? I know sometimes it can be a difficult question to answer in 500 characters or less. Is school still going on for you or did you finish?
poshmarkperk
@starbabyonline I also love that yours has no obligation. Just highlighting a posher who needs support if we have extra to give that day. No one can ever have to many friends who have truly understand what goes into chronic anything. Including mental health issues. This is a new one for me and it’s been hard to find myself again
poshmarkperk
@briannastull it was never a requirement to join. But it may help finding that there are others on the page who have similar issues. No one in their right mind would want to claim any disease that they don’t have to. It was organic this way and maybe people looking to unload for a minute. I hope by next week to have this all set up so we can start supporting each other if we have extra...
poshmarkperk
@briannastull so glad Posh provides you with a friend. I sent records there once and they said they couldn’t do anything. Praying for answers, relief and a team of drs to work together on your behalf!!!!! Keep me updated on how I can be praying further.
jodisjewelry
I have degenerative disc disease, all 5 lumbar discs are ruptured with annular tears, have a spinal cord stimulator, pcos, endometriosis, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, depression, anxiety, adhd, gastroparesis, ibs, acid reflux n ulcers, and chronic back pain.
jodisjewelry
I survived spinal meningitis as a baby which destroyed the enamel of my teeth n have chronic dental problems, had a uterine tumor, n 2 knee surgeries. After all I’ve been thru medically, I’m happy to still be alive. I was raised knowing I was a medical miracle and God has a purpose for my life, and He has a purpose for us all, even thru our pain and sufferings.
briannastull
@disableddesigns I really appreciate that you took the time to make this listing. I’ve been to the Mayo Clinic several times but not recently. Both my best friend (whom I’ve never met in person but I believe sent to me by God) and I are going in 2 weeks. They can’t cure our rare diseases but they sometimes have new meds or tech to make it a little easier. :)
briannastull
@disableddesigns I only go to hr MN Mayo and it’s awesome. My family doc sent me the first time, Prob 15 years ago. They work hard for everyone and have a few docs that have seen patients with “my” disease. Lol lots of extra issues since I was diagnosed - just like the rest of the brave women on here.
starbabyonline
@disableddesigns thx for asking. No, I haven't been doing well recently. Diagnosed with yet another disease which I've supposedly had for a long time and was misdiagnosed.
ptl8
@spooniesells hi, i was wondering with ur mast cell disorder if u have mastocytosis? Where ur body makes too many either systemically from the bone marrow, or different organs? I have it in my gut, but never think to mention it. If u take Cromyln Sodium then u know its $1500/mo. Soooo.....im trying for a break, see if i can load up on benadryl instead lol.....your the first person ive met that ive heard talk abt it....God Bless!!!
ptl8
Hi, Im Amy...the BFF of Trish from @briannastull....and thru Jodi!! How God put us together on Posh is amazing. Mayo here we come...🤗🤗🤗
I have Myofibrillar Myopathy, a really rare form of Muscular dystrophy, causes heart and resp failure, progressive weakness and muscle hardness, and severe pain. I pray the 80 ppl that have this can be the pioneers for the future, for a treatment and a cure!!!!
ptl8
In June i was told i was developing an overlapping connective tissue disease....but treatment for that will hurt the other. But thru Gods grace, HE will keep me lifted up😇😇..as well as everyone on here.... im sorry im slowly having to shut my closet down. This new " i cant text thing" is messing up my social life...hahahahahaha!! 🤪🤪🤯
spooniesells
@ptl8 Hi! I have mast cell activation, which is like
Mastocytosis. My body doesn’t produce the brown / red spots on the skin (but my daughter has it and she has those spots). But yes, too many over active mast cells! Isn’t it crazy how expensive cromolyn is? I get a 3 month supply from mail order. My mast cells primarily attack my digestive system and without it, I can’t eat. I wish you nothing but the best because I know how hard it is. Stay ion touch!

I have had a debilitating chronic illness for over 25 years. I decided because I could not work a regular 9-5 job and had to give up a career that I loved, I would design my life and new career in a way that I could still care for my needs as a chronically ill person but I could also enjoy my work with me being my own boss. Is it always easy? Nope, but is it always worth it? Yep! Glad I found this thread!
