ericamis YES! I listed a spirit jersey that I wore once, is in excellent condition, perfect color for summer, etc. I priced it around 50 to start but dropped it to around 40 and someone offered me $10. I can't be the only one who finds that insulting, right?

My advice as far as selling would be to share your closet at least 3x a day, morning noon and night if possible and share as many of other Poshers listings as much/often as you can and most of the time they'll share yours in return to their followers which is giving your things more exposure and follow as many as you can. Those 2 things alone have given me much success in a short amount of time. Cont'd

One gal asked me for advice, I gave it to her then I looked at her closet....all very very used things for outrageous amounts!! kathikini I’ve only ever Poshed as a buyer. It never has occurred to me that people would 50% original price! I’ve gone 5 or 10% for expensive items but to offer unfairly low is gluttonous and, in my opinion, not respectful to those who price according to market and would like a tidy profit.

Like it was spoken about earlier, offering $5 on a $10 item, yes it's only $5 less but it's 50% less and after posh takes their money it'd leave us making only $2.05!! Some don't get it and some just don't care 😩 but you do and I truly thank you for your understanding caring soul! 💜

I feel that closets to some buyers are treated with the same spirit as a garage sale or flea market. (P.S. nothing wrong with a garage/yard sale, but this isn’t one) I have even resorted to posting a listing that explains me as a buyer in an attempt to restore seller confidence. As for me... I’m going the way of the buffalo on selling & will resume being a buyer.

I think the most generous offer was asking 45% off & the most insulting asked 70% off. I applaud sellers like you who have the resilience to keep putting up with the 75% 💩 buyers to sell to the amazing 25%!

jonderwal_12 @runnergirl76 Awe don't get down or give up ☹️ it does take patience with the low-ballers but I keep in mind that I've had many positive experiences and great offers. Personally, when I get a low-ball offer I counter back my lowest I'll go and of course they'll continued to try to push their number but I decline it and post a comment to them telling them this is my lowest. Some move on but I've had a few that end up taking my offer.

I went back and forth with this woman declining her offers for nearly a week and stuck to my number not budging even for a couple dollars bc I know my offer was a steal, low and behold she ended up buying.... they're plenty of them on here, they're already getting a great deal but they want it for practically free. Don't let them ruin the selling experience for you 💜

kathikini @runnergirl76 since I’m not selling (yet) I don’t know how it works; but I’m assuming it’s just not possible on PM to auto-refuse low offers... like on EBay’s use of Reserve. Maybe Poshmark will evolve to a similar application. It’s really disheartening to know that good sellers are getting frustrated and quitting the Sell game.

I had 2 items listed at $12/ea and a lady put them in a bundle so that totaled $24 and then offered me $11 for the bundle! I am very open to offers, I would honestly take most of them, but I felt that was just ridiculous and insulting! I counter-offered for $20 plus $4.99 shipping but she obviously declined. My clothes are all used, cleaning out my closet, so I’m happy to get offers but just not ones like that!
