I was temporarily shut down by Poshmark bc I told someone they were selling counterfeits and they got offended. Poshmark cares more about making their 20% than the safety of their buyers

newlynelson @kyomishanna it takes a LOT of sharing your own closet so things stay toward the top of the brand page (the brand you have your item listed under) and so more eyes see your listings (your followers). Also, it’s important to have a posh compliant closet so that when party hosts are looking for hosts picks, they will pick your item.

It just hurt my heart to see her so upset because if they truly are counterfeit, she didn’t know. newlynelson @chrissycrassy Yes you absolutely can! When the package arrives, normally you accept the package and leave a rating. Do not accept it!! Instead, select “problem with order/inquiry” and explain that it is a counterfeit. You can use these listings to help you explain why it’s a fake and what pictures to take. Poshmark will review it and then issue a refund after a few days. They’ll have you print a prepaid label and return it. Once it’s returned, they’ll refund your money.

newlynelson @aleahlululua5 if she has already shipped it, wait until you receive the item. Normally you would “accept” your purchase on the app to release the funds to the seller. DO NOT DO THIS! When you receive the item, go to your purchases tab and select “problem with order/inquiry” and request a return. They’ll have you explain why it is a fake with pictures and explanations. You can use this listing to help point out the discrepancies as proof for your return.

newlynelson @itsnotevie Hey! I have this listing and another that help go in depth on how to spot a fake. The main thing I noticed on the other ones was on the back of the box under Kylie's signature it says "koko" but should be "xoxo". Also, a lot of times on counterfeits there will be misspellings in the ingredients list. Or may say "Made in PRC" instead of the USA. Let me know if you have any questions.

It was my first ever high end makeup purchase and I was so excited then realized it was fake. I don’t want anyone else to experience that so that’s why I try to educate. And I totally agree. mrsmomo5 I just made a complaint because I bought 2 Kylie lipsticks that were not authentic. The person I bought them from messaged me saying that they are authentic. #1 there are no serial numbers, #2 the bottom is square not rounded, #3 the wand is white. The seller msgd me saying “she is NOT sorry for this case” bc the products are authentic. But I took pictures of what I received.

newlynelson @mrsmomo5 did you file a complaint with Poshmark with that evidence? Because regardless if the seller agrees to give a refund or not, Poshmark can still make them take them back. I’m so sorry this happened. A large group of us communicate offline to work on taking out the counterfeits but it takes forever for Poshmark to do anything. Who sold them to you? (Without the @ sign)

There are KOKO items for sale because she did a collaboration with her sister Khloe, who amongst their family, call Koko. But “koko” should not be under Kylie’s signature on the back of the lip kit box. It should be “xoxo”

Also, you didn’t open the tube of lipstick so it isn’t devalued. Opening the box doesn’t devalue anything. People do it at Ulta all the time.
