@robinbalaban...hi again, robin.☺ so my son took several of my pieces to our jeweler today for polishing, and i asked him to take along the tiffany as well and ask the jeweler to give me an informal appraisal of it. the jeweler said he'll be able to do that for me by friday afternoon. he'll also polish it up pretty.☺

it will give me confirmation as well to know of its authenticity. the tiffany was a gift, and knowing the person as i do, i've always had utmost confidence that it's the real deal. but when you asked me earlier if it's authentic, i realized for the first time that i truly could not answer based simply on my assumption.

@robinbalaban...you're welcome, robin.😊 so, good news. my jeweler confirmed the tiffany is authentic. he also confirmed that it's a limited edition heirloom piece, which i did not know. so i hired him to formalize the appraisal in writing. he said it will take about 10 days because he has other appraisals ahead of me. sorry about the unexpected delay.☺

@robinbalaban...hi robin😃. the tiffany is now posted again for sale. my jeweler appraised the watch for its jewelry value and its heirloom value. he said the shield is union pacific. the company commissioned tiffany for a handful of watches as anniversary gifts way back when. i've adjusted the price accordingly. nice little savings for you, if you're still interested?😊
