Just make sure to report their listings. Poshmark will catch on if everyone reports and they will get kicked off☺

@jenniferk80 I just got scammed on a Gucci bag for $630 . They posted their phone contact to offer a deal. Then they asked to pay with ZELLE APP to avoid fees!!!! DON’T fall for it. .... it’s a SCAM!!!!
Nov 21Reply

deedan44
@lporterjolie They change their user name once someone catches onto the SCAM. They remove the listing and sign on to a different user name and sell (Scam) AGAIN!!!! They usually list a phone # to contact them.... then when you contact them they ask you to pay with Zelle App with the excuse to avoid Poshmark Fees! I have noticed that they have been using user names that include the names SOPHIA or MELANIE ... but that could change too!!!!
Nov 24Reply

deedan44
They numbers they can use are 971-768-2432 or 646-387-3492. Again, remember that could change too!!!

@lporterjolie They have changed the user names so many times because I keep finding them and posting on their listings !!!! They block me and I have to keep creating new accounts to find them again! I won’t stop!!! This is a disgrace !!! Keep hunting these scammers . They have been using area codes 917 and 646. Gucci bags, YSL bags, apple watches

@lporterjolie good catch on that one!

@lporterjolie I am glad there are people like US who pursue them! They got me for $630. Now I’m on a crusade to bring them down. My father is a Private investor.... I have him and his team working this. Every time I make a comment they take it down and I start all over again!! However, there are probably too many of them doing this ! At least we get the ones we can !
Nov 27Reply

jaymonte333
@lporterjolie It does look fishy! Maybe they are replicas and not authentic. Usually the scammers have been putting phone numbers for contact so they can get paid outside Poshmark. What do you think?
Nov 27Reply

jaymonte333
@lporterjolie yes, I was taken .... even more of a reason I am not going to stop! I just saw you got them on “fororganization” good job! I posted comment too :) they are also under “msorganization” got them on that one too ! Also, “sophia w” currently !!!
Nov 27Reply

jaymonte333
They keep taking them down and creating new accounts .... I keep creating new accounts as well because they block me !!!

@nocticula I'm so glad you said something. I bought 8 pair of Louboutins today. All of the ones I bought from look legit but I'll be so disappointed if I bought some fakes shoes from a fake page.

@jaymonte333 Did you mean that your Dad is a private investigator?
Dec 02Reply

Beware of sellers that not only sell at incredible prices, they may have no authentication/ registration codes. Some designers don't have authentication codes, if they are selling 6 Gucci or LV belts - all in different sizes, it's a scam.
Dec 02Reply

jimcherrix
Be sure to report each of these listings. The sooner the offer is removed, the potential for buyers being scammed is greatly reduced. I sell only authentic items, however, if it's a designer item I'm selling (or buying), I'll pay the extra money to have the item authenticated. There's others out there but I use realauthentication.com.

If potential buyer's refuse to have dealings with sellers off the Poshmark app they wouldn't be able to be scammed,It's as simple as that.

I mean, you buy on sites like this for a reason - for buying protection. Why would you be stupid enough to do a purchase without any protection & paying via Zelle, etc? Its honestly just common sense.
