xtw Hi thank you for sharing this. I want to ask u how familiar are u with Posh authentication? The reason I ask is because I brought a vintage Chanel bag couple of months ago and paid $999 for it. It passed Posh Authentication, after I received the bag I sent it to Leather Surgery to get it cleaned, Leather Surgery contacted me after they received the bag and told me it’s not a real Chanel. Meanwhile I start to do my own research, and the bag is very questionable.

xtw I also took the bag to a local vintage reseller store, owner told me it doesn’t look authentic too. So I contacted Posh, they asked me to sent the bag back to check again, I did, but it came back as authentic again, I am very confused at this point. From my own research this bag have five facts that doesn’t look authentic. I just don’t understand how can Posh pass the authentication. Do u have any suggestions for me? Thank you

missdpagan @xtw I would ask leather surgeons to send you a written statement as to why the bag was rejected for repair or restoration and have that sent over to poshmark. Poshmark has to refund you no matter what.

xtw @missdpagan I did get a statement from Leather Surgeons and told Posh too, included with the bag when I sent it back to Posh, but still ☹️ Posh told me they had a third authentication company to authenticate this bag, it came back as authentic. I am just like how???

apesoup21 Sorry to butt in but u can take posh to court that is a lot of money for a fake 😡 so go to police make a report take the paperwork you have from the leather place and what you have from posh bring it to your local courthouse and file a complaint and trust me you will win and you will receive your money back posh hates me lol

msluxurycloset @missdpagan great info. I saw this burgundy bag with dame code listed on another posher page months ago and I told her it was a replica. She even has a receipt from where she claim to have gotten it but if she did she need to get her money bk cause it’s s rep. Despite me telling her she never took it down.

xtw @fccandles posh refund my money and took the bag back. I had to sent this bag to Authenticate First (I think, it’s been awhile) for them to authenticate for me and spend like $150 on it. Of course it came back as fake so I contacted posh again and told them that.

xtw @fccandles I asked for the money I paid for the bag and all the shipping fees and authentication fee I paid for it which was like $250 totally, but they only refund me the bag money, which is better than nothing. I can’t do anything with a fake bag. What’s interesting is when I had problem with this fake bag I was only dealing with this one person. And this person was not very clear about what third party and I felt he/she didn’t want to admit it’s a fake bag don’t want to get in trouble
