This guide was simply suggested to you to be of assistance. It was not meant to be at all offensive. You claim to be a seasoned Posher, however, I am not and this guide was very helpful to me in regards to being respectful when making offers to fellow sellers. Best wishes.

I believe that some people may not be fully aware of the fees that Poshmark takes from the seller and what we end actually up receiving for our goods. That is why I really don't take a lowball offer personally. 💕

I want to have a chart made to post in my closet explaining that eventhough I'm sending you a discounted offer, it may still seem a little high, and break it down for them. I had a seller a few days ago offer me $12 on a $35 item, I kinda called her out a little bit on her page, oops. I read a lot of the comments on her about page and it looks like she's done it several times before.

bestbargain4u @afish56 I believe you on that... there are many people who do it on a regular basis and know about the seller's fees. They just don't care at all, even though they know it is so rude. It's unbelievably incredible, I mean they know I didn't get a brand new name brand sweater for $5, so why would I be willing to sell it to them for $5? It just makes no sense at all. 🤦‍♀️

klecornu This is great! I don’t understand why people regularly offer me half of my listing price when I already have extremely low prices. Then I counter an acceptable amount off and they counter one dollar up from their original lowball. How do you manage people like that? I use Poshmark to sell items I no longer wear and work full time. It’s a big time suck (sorry for the long post!)

When I get a crazy lowball offer, what I do is simply tag that person on this listing 😊 Most people get the picture and will use the guide to send a new more reasonable offer. I usually do not counter or decline lowball offers because I don't take them seriously. I feel if the person really wants my item they will send a fair offer to begin with.

srobichaud @bestbargain4u It helped me greatly. 🙂. I only sell personal items. Mine and my daughter’s. I’ve enjoyed the “personal and courteous” aspect of Poshmark. I have a chronic illness that I had a hard time accepting. But now I have, for example, 15 Blazers (banker) ) that I no longer need.. lol .. lately.. I’ve been receiving offers 70% less than I’m asking. Like you, I don’t get offended. But I am happy you shared this as it will help me respond 😊. Ty 💕
