I’ve done some research on this. According to Birkenstock website, you are correct- a US 9 or 9.5 is an EU 40. According to Poshmark’s sizing, an EU 40 is a US 10. You can find size charts that show either, or somewhat in the middle, I.e. an EU 40 would translate to a 9.5-10.5...

@aludka Actually, yes, I’m waiting on several sizes in this style. I like to carry size 5-10, but it really depends on what I can purchase at a discounted price. Right now I was stocking them in Mocha, but if u have an interest in another color- I believe they come in black or stone, let me know. They are a super cute style for a girl. 😊 I wish I had cuter feet because I 💗 them, but hate my feet!!!

@aludka Good questions! I should get them in this week- hopefully come in tomorrow. Birks do tend to run a little big, so it may be a hard decision depending on how her feet are growing. The European sizing of Birkenstock are almost like half sizes for us... so the EU 37 translates to a size six, but can fit 6.5. The EU 38 is 7,but will fit a 7.5... don’t know how much that helps!
