pamwalter3 Hi! I have several questions: What year is this bag? Are you the original owner? Where was it purchased? Is there any damage, wear & tear or flaws? Does it come with the original receipt? Does it come with the original box? Does it come with the original dust cover? Does it come from a smoke free home? Does it have any bad odor? Thanks!

zenist @pamwalter3 hello, I am the original owner. The boutique stamp is from the actual store in Boston, MA (pic attached). I do have the original receipt but have to look for it as I have moved. I want to say 2016 or 17?. Will come with original box, dust bag, ribbon and booklets. Smoke free and no smell. I will only send copy of receipt with the item and the original will be mailed separately to the buyer after the transaction clears.

pamwalter3 Thanks for all the info. I’ve found a 2016 dbl flap listed for $1500 less than your asking price, it comes with everything yours comes with except the box (and I’d prefer to have a box). I know this doesn’t matter to you, but I wanted you to know how I got to the figure that I’m offering you. I hope I do t offend you 🤗

zenist @pamwalter3 Thanks for your offer, I will consider it and get back to you. You have not offended me at all as I know this is an expensive investment. I will consider all offers. Just wanted to let you know that my bag has zero marks or nail marks on the leather. It has been stored inside the box with the dust bag in the closet the entire time. I would rate it a 10 out of 10. : )

zenist @pamwalter3 I found my receipt. I apologize. This is actually purchased at the end of 2012. I had this bag confused with my other bag. My information will be blacked out on the receipt if you would like to keep the original copy. Condition of bag is still 10 out of 10 if you are still interested. Thank you!

zenist Chanel’s classic 2.55 bags retains at least 85% of its current retail value, and if the bag in great condition or has a special skin, it can sell for more than retail. The resale value of these bag also retains or increases depending on leather and hardware. Also the year of bags can be confirmed with the first two digit of the serial codes. Vintage bags do not depreciate unless they are damaged. The last price increase was in 2018 and historically they have been increasing every year.
