I can prove I list authentic! I have checked every morning this week on Chanel jewelry listings just for informational reasons. There’s is more FAKES listed than authentic on some days! Please please please be extremely careful! I truly care about you guys & these scammers are getting incredibly bold & for some reason they aren’t pulling the listings. They are pulling authentic ones though 😳 Ask someone to look at an item if you’re not sure! I’m here for you guys!

kathyfree @mynahshine fake designer is a multi multi billion dollar industry. There’s money to be made by all who deal in this crap. It’s suppresses weaker groups, funds terrorism and atrocities, and don’t kid yourself… You look cheap carrying it. I have fallen prey to this. Unknowingly these copies are so good. But I have noticed Poshmark not doing a damn thing about these listings. It’s quite profitable. let $1 million or so go through before shutting it down. Thank you for the heads up!

kathyfree @mynahshine Also everyone, there are many listings for fake Chanel fragrance. Dead giveaway you should never be able to see the tube inside the bottle! Real Chanel fragrance,the tube that extracts the liquid through the pump is made to be invisible. If you can see the tube through the bottle it’s guaranteed fake. You should also be able to see a watermark through the back of the bottle on the back of the front label.

kathyfree @mynahshine if you see a listing for a bundle of brand new in the box Chanel fragrance, or even a single bottle with a price that’s too good to be true… It is. It’s fake. They even hijack the pictures from the Chanel website. You will be getting fake perfume, that can be transdermally absorbed through your skin and hurt you. And if you’re pregnant it could have catastrophic results. We are not allowed to buy and sell perfume on Poshmark. It’s not supposed to be sent through the mail.

mynahshine @kathyfree you are so right! I actually have scars on my face from a fake cosmetic someone sold me! It’s dangerous! The fragrances smell horrible! Personally I only purchase skin care, makeup & perfume from Chanel or Nordstrom. There’s a couple people here I trust w/that but generally I pass.

parisluxuries You know why posh is taking down authentic ones? Bc the fake sellers now overpopulate the authentic sellers and they flag all the authentics to take down the competition. Fake will never be on the same level as authentic! I support what you are doing 😘👍

mynahshine @parisluxuries you are so sweet! Thank you for your support! I will no longer list certain designers now. They were beyond rude. I listed a gift with purchase little charm , there’s a bunch listed right now, but Posh decided mine was a fake even after I sent a copy of the receipt from Nordstrom it was listed on. The rest are fine.

mynahshine @parisluxuries I know the Posher who’s causing me grief too. I made the mistake of letting her stay with me when she lost her home. She stole my laptop amongst other items & now wants revenge for being asked to leave. I keep ignoring her but she can’t let it go. She’s selling stolen stuff too. But I’ve kept it to myself.

mynahshine @anikh326 yes it’s included. Poshmark will return the listing Mon or Tues. the algorithm pulls it every time it gets reported then a person reviews it, sees it’s authentic & within policy & returns it. It’s happened 3 times

jami_holder I just purchased & received a CHANEL Broach. Would you be able to tell me if it is authentic or not. If yes... I will give you the Seller’s Closet & item description. I paid just under 500. ( so no authentication???) WoW, thank you for taking the time to post this information.

mynahshine @jami_holder it’s difficult to tell 100% without holding it. The ones I comment on are obvious. Chanel jewelry doesn’t have an authenticity card. You can still ask Poshmark to authenticate for a small fee & if it’s fake they will get your money back. I can look but can’t promise I’ll be able to tell from just a listing.

egoldring2000 @mynahshine thank you for posting. I flagged a post that was obviously fake and saved a poster from purchasing by canceling her order. The same post appeared again with same photos and description under a different user. I flagged that one too but a few minutes later, the exact same earrings appeared under a different user. What tipped me off was when I asked authenticity questions, she blocked me, deleted the listing and created a new one.

mynahshine @egoldring2000 be careful, they now report every designer item I list & often I have to fight to get it put back. I’ve never sold a replica & never will. Poshmark knows that I’ve been here for years but they’ll take the word of a new account over ours

mynahshine @egoldring2000 it’s why I don’t list much anymore. I got tired of the High School mean girls club. Lol I’m almost 55 & have no desire to be prom Queen. I love Poshing & try to make every sale a positive experience for my customer. I do miss that part.

mynahshine @girlslikeus28 I gave up reporting. It only created problems for me. They like to pull my authentic listings & then I appeal & they get returned. I suspect they need a new algorithm & moderation team. I only studied Chanel & Prada completely so I stick to those. I do asked others about LV.

styl1stcloset @kathyfree yes! This is the truth. The good news is that they are closing in on the big fish which is what they want not the people just pushing the fake goods. If you think about it - being an NYC’r - I’m always in awe that China town exists still today with moving walls and back rooms and solicitors in the street - it’s a whole entire system in the city of Nyc and it’s existed for years. The heroin also comes from China town. There’s a lot in this country that’s just wrong

mynahshine @styl1stcloset I’m from NJ & have spent quite a lot of time in NYC. Never bought anything from the China town vendors though. I’ve always supported the design houses simply for the history. As an adult pushing up on 60 I can finally buy from them.

mynahshine @styl1stcloset I have 2 Hermès bags, a tote & Evelyn. My husband bought me a Birkin, but it’s not here yet. Took 3 yrs of forming a relationship with an employee just to get it. Totally worth it too. I’m so excited I can’t stand myself. Lol
