resparkedjoy @sofieann_berry so the waist measurement is 14". I am also not super familiar with the brand, but googled it, and found a blog that said sizes can run smaller than US. This woman mentioned a good way to check was to measure a good fitting piece of your own clothing and then compare. I hope this helps, they are super cute pants. :-)

1kingsdaughter are the waist a true 28" any give room?...actually need at least 29 1/2

resparkedjoy @1kingsdaughter Hello! :-) The waist is pretty true to 28". Very little stretch to this material. Thank you for your interest. They are high waisted though. Not sure how you generally wear your pants on your torso, but these are definitely more on the true waist by the belly button. When doing measurements for these, definitely measure around right at the belly button. Hope this helps. :-)
