This was the best Antique find of my life. I knew immediately what these earrings were, I had only seen them before in a museum. These are circa 1850, so they are 170 years old. They measure 1 & 1/2" from top of drop to the bottom, not including ear wires. They were only made this way, with the earwires connected into the top of the earrings. They show wear and tear, there are tiny pieces of the gold gone, and the bone is not perfect. Pieces are un-even. Crowning Jewel of any serious collection.

mitzadragonaga @jessa2021 Hi, I am not really sure what you are asking me. The gold is inlaid, flush with the bone. I took pictures from all angles. These are amazing. You have such a good eye to ask about them. 😊🌺

mitzadragonaga @jessa2021 I just had my husband look with me. They are all intact. There are even stars up on the top piece. 😊🌺

mitzadragonaga @jessa2021 Hi, So happy about your interest. I have only seen this art in museums. I travelled the World Figure Skating, always loved jewelry, did my first trade at (6) (still have the piece). These are very delicate. They are made of bone and gold. It is the only piece that I ever saw in real life. Pique’ is a lost art. 😊🌺

mitzadragonaga @jessa2021 There are definitions of Pique’ jewelry. It was only made from the 1850’s - 1870’s. It cannot be reproduced. The technique is a many step, hand done process. You can also read what I wrote above. And, if you want to read about me just go to my “meet your posher” above.😊🌺
