There are dozens or scammers selling iwatches and AirPods iPhones iPad and other apple products on here. They are selling them way below retail so that should be your first sign! They are usually newly registered and ask for you to call or message them first! I was a victim so I’m trying to let others know. They are easily found on here. If it’s too good to be true it is! Please report the listing as well as the user to get them removed. Poshmark is not proactive in stopping them!

tantopia @sareenaxo interesting I only live 10 miles to the north of you. They are obvious scammers and easily to identify. They are all new registered users to Poshmark and mostly sell Apple watches and AirPods . Most times they list a phone number to call and text. Ask yourself why someone would sell an Apple Watch so cheap?

tantopia @sareenaxo user locations are listed under your username, I’ve explained the simple steps to show how they are fraudulent listings, but if you wish to gamble so be it. I was simply was trying to give you a heads up and others as well. You can see people leaving comments under my statement saying how they have been getting taken.

tantopia @sareenaxo I’m sure they’re are a few real listings, and perhaps a few more expensive ones listed that are fakes as well. This scheme has been running rampant on Poshmark for months so people are becoming aware of the fakes. Maybe they figure by listing at a higher price people will think they are legitimate. Why would one person be selling 4 or 5 watches or AirPods and rock bottom prices?

tantopia @sareenaxo you can find a new one on eBay and get much better protection against fraud. There a a few on here that are legitimate sellers, you just have to see how long they have been registered and how many sales they have done Unfortunately the scammers are going to great lengths to make it seem they are legitimate. tantopia @nadenka35 depends what you have and the price. I think sellers with a history of positive transactions, people would trust. You can easily see those who are scammers, but so many buyers just don’t take the time to check.

nadenka35 @tantopia I have the silver aluminum Apple Watch Series 5 with cellular, and including tax it was $534. I have the receipt and packaging, but I need my money back due to financial stuff that unexpectedly happened. I would have to overprice it to get all of my money back due to fees, and I don’t want to do that, because that’s not fair to the buyer; so I have to figure out a reasonable price for my Apple Watch on Poshmark.

tantopia @nadenka35 also be careful if you sell it here from scammers the trying to buy it. They will ask you to email or text them. Personal I’d try to sell it on eBay. I don’t know that I would be interested in it. I use Verizon as att was twice the price so I switched

nadenka35 @tantopia Before I would have it shipped to you, I would have my watch closed from my account, so it would no longer be connected with my AT&T account. I know I was considering getting one from US cellular even though I’m not under them at the time AT&T did not have theirs in the stores I go to. I don’t know how all that works, but I think if I close it from my account, you should be able to activate it on yours with Verizon.

I’d like to change my listing as “contact me; I want to sell it for $475 since it’s brand new,” but then the listing would be taken down for purchase off the site.

lindsie3 @emilyberinger_ they are usually selling knock offs or they are ones that "fell off a truck or storage room"/items that were warranted and should been sent back to apple. All apple products can have the serial number checked, if a seller isn't willing to give it to you it should be your first sign.
