bekahloss3 ...🤷‍♀️Lastly, every re-sold mask by a “scammer” was purchased from the site anyway, meaning that JW will have already donated a pack for a pack. Everyone wins. I always check product availability at retail before buying here, but I see benefits for choosing poshmark for the masks. :)

not26anymore @bekahloss3 I don’t think paying 5x the price is “everybody wins” PLUS if consumers were spending what they’d spend for Poshmark masks (5 at $25 each is $125) at Johnny Was more money would be going to charity. This is price gauging, no different than when people were selling $3 hand sanitizer for $50. Profiting off a global pandemic is gross but karma does find people 🤷🏻‍♀️

I KNEW I was paying more. It was worth it to ME to pay more, for the reasons I wrote. I wouldn’t say that people are profiting from the pandemic, anymore than driving up the price of sold-out shoes is profiting from...foot pain? God. I simply offered a new perspective...

bekahloss3 But if putting a disclaimer on each posh sale that says “you may or may not be able to find this cheaper somewhere else!!!!” helps people who didn’t realize....that has always been an option for them...ok. Then everyone would have to write that on every sale. You can choose to be outraged, or you can simply buy elsewhere.

bekahloss3 Bytheway...to buy up ALL stock of necessary medical grade items, only to jack up the price, IS unethical. You can buy masks literally EVERYWHERE. You can also sew them yourself. You can also wear a shield or a handkerchief instead. They are not medical grade, and they’re not unavailable. I honesty can’t believe I have to say all this out loud. Especially since I never meant to offend you, but to offer reason and perspective. 🙏🏻
