Do you make this in white gold?
missstephlee
@apparelhunters I haven’t done this one in white yet. It’s on my to make list but it’ll be prob another month or so.
apparelhunters
@missstephlee will you let me know when you have it done?
apparelhunters
@missstephlee I wear a 6.5. Would love to have one.
missstephlee
@apparelhunters I’ll tag you when I have it up ☺️
jocelynwray
Can you make eternity rings?
missstephlee
@jocelynwray I haven’t done a full around one yet but I do want to add those too. I lean towards the floating diamond bands or the micro pave to stack but I’m open to suggestions too :)
rwillig
Can you make slightly larger than 1 carat stud earrings? With silver colored metal?
missstephlee
@rwillig I have 2ct studs. I made several at once so I won’t be doing more for awhile.
shingblue
Do you have size 7?
shingblue
Do you have white soled 14 k gold or 14k yellow gold?
missstephlee
@shingblue I only use precious metals. For gems above 3ct I use solid platinum or gold as the price of the gem puts it in that price bracket already but 3ct & under I do 925 Silver as the base under the gold/rhodium to keep the prices down. Doing a solid band ups the price a couple hundred. I can do a solid 14k band for this custom but I would want a deposit to start it.
missstephlee
@shingblue I’m about to make a few more sizes of this one (& others) and I will have 7 soon.
missstephlee
@shingblue Also, for white I use Platinum/Rhodium (rhodium is one of the 5 platinums & most expensive/an upgrade in metal. White gold is just yellow good mixed with another metal to harden (as gold is a soft metal) and then played with Rhodium to get the “white” look. White gold isn’t made in nature and what ppl think of as “white gold” is basically a plated metal.
missstephlee
@shingblue So again I’d rather use solid silver as the base to keep the $ lower & put the Rhodium on top the same as “white gold” does but I can make to your specifications and use whatever material you prefer.
“White gold” can eventually show the natural light yellow color of the alloy gold underneath the Rhodium plating whereas with a silver base the color won’t change or show through.
shingblue
Thank you for your response, I will keep that in mind. Are this won’t tarnish or changes color of the silver? Have a great day.
missstephlee
@shingblue Correct. The outside is the exact same as “white gold”. Both are Rhodium on the outside and won’t tarnish. Rhodium is great. The only reason it’s not used more often is bcz it costs more/the most expensive.
missstephlee
@shingblue With either white gold or this one, over the years plating can “rub” thin. With rings it usually happens on the underneath bottom where it rubs on inside of bottom your finger.
With the White Gold/rhodium you’ll see the yellow showing if rhodium rubs through.
With the silver/rhodium you won’t see color change as silver is white too but silver is 925/1000 parts fine (aka pure) silver.
missstephlee
@shingblue The 75/1000 parts that are an alloy (aka mixture) can technically eventually tarnish after years once rhodium rubs thin but it’s such a small amount and usually the only a small pin head of an area that it doesn’t tarnish that it’s years & a small polishing cloth for 20 seconds would rid it if it did happen.
But if it did, replating is easy and not expensive to re-add if you so choose down the road.
missstephlee
@shingblue All of my prongs no matter what color the band are done in rhodium as it’s strongest to hold the gem.
With a ring that gets worn a lot you want the prongs to be solid so they don’t move when bumped into things daily and loose the main stone.
missstephlee
@shingblue Also a yellow colored prong gives a clear stone a tint of yellow to it from reflecting the band so all clear stones go in white prongs anyway. I won’t use gold or fine silver for prongs at all. It’s poor quality construction from an uneducated ring maker or one only in it for the $ & doesn’t care about quality of the setting/the customer.
missstephlee
@shingblue
Interesting side fact: Gold is harder than platinum. When you hit gold on something & it scratches it’s actually removing gold as it’s knicked off the ring. Platinum when hit doesn’t chip off the metal. It’s so soft that it just gets “pushed” over but the metal remains there.
missstephlee
@shingblue So gold rings lose gold over the years as it’s chipped when scratched or rubbed away when worn a lot leaving a thinner band (which is why men’s gold rings get thin and break underneath under years of wear) whereas Platinum won’t get thinner as it doesn’t lose the metal over the years.

@apparelhunters I have this in white now! I have white round already listed but I’ve finished my first two in cushion white & will photo/list today as well. I have 6.5 & 7 so far in white cushion. Same price as this one.
missstephlee
@estruk0051 Here’s the 3ct cushion cut. I only use precious metals. This is solid sterling 925 silver with 14k gold over it. I can do in solid gold as well but it ups the price $200-300 and generally I try to find a balance of making a long lasting piece while using the less rare/therefore cheaper precious metal of silver for the underneath base.

@wendydane Here’s a 3ct cushion cut
crick3tip
I want an oval Moissanite
missstephlee
@crick3tip I have 1ct-10ct ovals but I am still finishing my design work on a couple oval settings so I don’t have Oval rings available yet. ETA is Feb/March. What carat size are you looking for?

@dream_weaver22 Here’s my cushion cut.

Hey Mrs. Stephanie! I actually bought this ring like 2 years ago and finally got engaged lol. I’m needing a band to go with this if you have some currently in stock?
