@brendadoolin This is a bigger Halo ring that I recently finished & I didn’t have listed yet. The only other Halo I currently have is a 1.5ct. I would need to make a new design for a mid range carat sized Halo ring. I can make anything you want with a deposit for half but if it’s left to my own schedule I have projects planned that’ll last me until Dec.

It mostly comes down to I can’t front the costs to make unless it’s a guaranteed sale. I’ve had too many people change their minds as I finish & I’m left with inventory that is specific to one buyer only and sits in my inventory tying up my cash. Once I have more cash flow it’ll be easier for me to expand in multiple designs at once :)

@stephgora I can’t size down as I don’t have the set up to strip the plating once the ring is done but a jeweler at a jewelry store with a full set up could. I can make one in your size but bcz of the holidays right now ETA would be end of Jan/beginning of Feb.

@joyosgood Thanks 😊 I have ideas in all different stages too. I have a few new ones at the top of my closet that are very close to finished. I’m waiting on my first batch of sapphires and I know how to make rubies now too so those will be coming in Spring/summer. I’m also at beginning stages for some men’s rings too.

@maryhovath8 I can make l in any metal. I don’t like 10k gold bcz it’s just a marketing ploy. 10k gold is a mixture of 41% gold & 59% nickel/zinc. It’s so little hold & mostly nickel/zinc. Many people have allergic reactions & although it’d called “gold” it’s not enough for me to see any worth in it for real jewelry that you want to pass to your kids and grandkids.

@maryhovath8 The value is in the gem, not the 10k mixture of nickel w/ a touch of gold in it. No real jeweler would put a gem of this quality into 10k gold. The gem itself retails for $3,600. Too put it in a lesser metal is only done by mass produced poor quality settings & cheap Moissanite. I won’t use anything less than 14k which is still only 58% gold & the rest of the metal is nickel/zinc.

@maryhovath8 A 14k gold setting costs approx $300 more for just switching it to gold & the posh market just doesn’t go for that price range on here so I stick to solid silver w/ outer layer 14k gold (or Rhodium platinum which is what “white” gold is as gold only comes in its natural color of deep golden yellow & nothing is else).

@maryhovath8 I don’t have any qualms talking about/guaranteeing my Moissy bcz it’s *THAT* good.
My hubs has 4 degrees/doctorates but his last 1 is molecular bio bcz we’re into health that much, but it’s helped me figure out how they’re grown & these are made to my specifications from growing in the lab to cutting it & inscribing.

@maryhovath8 I don’t buy my gems from someone else as others do; I grow them (& now sapphires & rubies) myself (in lab) for my jewelry specifically. That’s the level mine are at & bcz I’m there from conception/birth of gem & ring to sale, I regulate all sides & cut ALL middlemen. I also give my Friends & Family discount on Posh since I got started on my Jewelry path here. This is why mine are this low on posh (definitely not on my website though😉)

@stephgora It’s the exact same outer layer as white gold. Plating can wear through over the years but it’s a minor upkeep at a jewelers store to replace. Although prices can vary a bit depending on your location, I’ve paid $35 for a smaller simple classic band & with this one a bit bigger it could be a bit more (more space to cover = more gold needed).

@stephgora if you aren’t wearing it everyday 24/7, you could go a lifetime without doing it too though. It happens on the underneath inside part of the band. As with “white gold”, it will show the yellow gold underneath if that happens. My silver/rhodium platinum is white underneath so you may not even notice as silver is “white” color too so blends.

@stephgora But it’s not going to wear off on the outer ring part. It’s smooth & only in part that rubs constantly over several years. It’s the exact same wear as 14k white gold (which is 14k gold-& that’s made of 58% gold & rest nickel/zinc- then has a white rhodium platinum layer over it to cover the pale yellow gold & make it shiny “white”)
