Vigueras was a premier silversmith in Mexico City in the 1930's that produced fine silver items as seen in museum collections today.

Vigueras was one of the most prominent Mexican silversmiths at the turn of the 20th C. The piece is made in heavy sterling silver & has rich detailing (Deep Repousse). Many of these cuffs were made with floral motifs, this one is unusual with the bezel set black onyx cabochon.
The cuff is approx: 3" wide on the front from top to bottom, & 1 3/4" on the back.
Measure approx: 7 1/2" to 7-3/4" wearable length.
Marked Vigueras/ 925 for sterling silver.
Total grams 60 grams.
Most of Vigueras bracelet's that can be found are the 2" inch versions, this size one is close to three inches at the front. Please note, as shown in the last photo, there is a very slight break and bend in the silver.
