The fabric feels like velor but the tag says it is 100% cotton. It's a warm, rich jewel toned color of plum. It had great structure with two front faux pockets, two front bold buttons, fold down lapel collar, the sleeves having small slide slits and the back having the adjustable sewn in belt. Size XL
