pcshopper @dandelionsweet Wow! Thank you so much for your kind words. As I woke up & read them it brought tears to my eyes. My skin has been doing better recently I noticed something not right on my husband’s nose. I kept bugging him there was a bump & now a hole not healing. I took a pic. Finally, I told him to call to Dr. I sent pic to the MA who I have become friends bc I go there so much. They got him in fast.

pcshopper @dandelionsweet And it came back positive for cancer. We went to see my plastic surgeon. During his appt. The doctor took a biopsy of mine. I was scheduled to see him. And mine is positive that I have been treating so I knew doctor will need to do Moh’s surgery on me. My husband is scheduled two surgeries by two doctors do to it on his his noise on Tuesday/Weds. mine is on the 23rd. Words can not express how much your kind words meant! 💕🤗🙏 Have a beautiful wonderful Sunday! 🌻Aly

dandelionsweet @pcshopper Aww! I’m so heartened to know that my words of encouragement were meaningful to you. That’s really quite a story, and you were so smart to bring your husband into the doctor! It’s really fortunate that you knew the practitioner and could get yourself tested as well.

dandelionsweet @pcshopper It must be difficult for you and your husband to both care for and be taken care of by each other as you endure the same kind of cancer, but it’s also wonderful that you two have such a strong relationship and can stay by each other’s side. I know people who have had similar skin cancers, and they have had good results. I hope your Mohs surgery goes well in a few weeks and your husband’s surgery this week is effective. I’ll be praying for you two and your healthcare teams! ❤️🤍❤️

pcshopper @briechanel Ahhh, thanks. Little Nano is my buddy who is there w/ me through 2 out 3 hip surgeries. And countless skin cancer treatments & Moh’s surgeries. I use to wear tiny bikinis now I am covered head to toe when I go out even to the beach 🏖. I am fortunate that skin cancer is really the best type of cancer to have. If you know what I mean. pcshopper @dandelionsweet I just noticed I never responded to you back in August as I just saw your message. B/c someone sent me a message. You are such a sweetheart. I am fortunate that I found a wonderful partner. It took me a long time but I told him he was worth it. Aug got really crazy as we were evacuated due to the Parley’s Canyon Fire. If the 🔥went over the ridge our house would be gone. We lucked out. I hope you are doing well & enjoying the Holiday Season! 🎄😁

dandelionsweet @pcshopper No worries! I’m glad you got out of the fire and that your house was safe! I have family in Bountiful, so I heard about the fires this summer, and they sounded so scary. It’s wonderful that you found a partner to share so much unconditional love and support with! It’s such a blessing to have someone like that in life. How are you both doing? Have your surgeries helped?

dandelionsweet It’s crazy—so many of the people I know in Bountiful have skin cancer that I think the high sun exposure and the terrible air quality probably have something to do with it.

pcshopper @dandelionsweet Wow! So you have connections to Utah. It was a good experience to really come to terms that we would be ok if we loss everything. You really learn what matters in life if you hadn’t already figured that out. I do know Utah has a high rate of skin cancer. Lots of light skinned 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 w/ high altitude makes the UV strong. Plus, all of our outdoor recreation people do. Hope you are doing well and staying safe during these challenging times. 😁💕🐶🏂
