Hello, I'm Cathy from South Holland, IL and some of my favorite brands are Louis Vuitton, Escada, St.John, Prada, Louis Feraud, Chanel, Balmain and Balenciaga. 💞💞At 77, I try to stay stylish and will not let age define my sense of fashion.💕💞 Once a Diva always a Diva!! I'm also an artist and it is a passion of mine since my retirement. I'm self-taught and thought you might enjoy seeing some of my paintings. I call my closet "From Trendy to the Classics" I have a love affair with vintage..maybe because I AM vintage! LOL

I love fashion I always have since I was a teenager. when I was your daughter's age I was taken under the wing of my auntie who was a doctor and did all her shopping at Saks fifth avenue. we didn't have much in a family of seven kids. but she would take me shopping and buy me the most beautiful things and got me spoiled at a very young age

jackie_bruce85 Good afternoon! I am writing in regards to my recent purchase. After reviewing my budget, I have a new daughter, I don’t think I’ll be able to swing it this month. My mom’s birthday is next week and that’s who it was for, but I’ll have to wait and get her a nice bag for Christmas. In Poshmark policy it states that offers are binding and you cannot cancel them like you can a regular transaction. Can you please help me out?

I'm still recuperating it's learning to walk all over again.. sherrinmj @cathyfrangos You’re welcome. I can relate. I broke/shattered my left ankle in 95 and had a non weight bearing fiberglass cast up to my knee and I had to go through that type of process. I have 9 screws and a plate still in there. That was over 26 years ago and I’ve never had to have any other surgeries on it. With your drive and stamina in your career, I know that you’re going to do great with PT and come out like a new woman on the other end. You can do it! You’ve got this!! 😊👍👍😃

cathyfrangos @itsallabout_u DO IT... by yourself an inexpensive set of watercolors some watercolor paper and get started. I use arches watercolor paper. you cut a piece of it for the size you want to work with and you soak it in water get it nice and damp you put it on a watercolor wooden board and tape it down with I call it postal tape it's the kind you wet on the back and it sticks so you frame it in that and it'll stick to your board and then you can start painting

The difficulty was in creating the illusion of movement in a red cape and I remade the cape over 10 times and FINALLY got it right!! So I respect you immensely for being self taught and creating beautiful art! Bravo!

My husband bought me canvas and oils a while back to try my hand at more conventional art but have yet to find the time. I'm 64 and reinventing sometimes can be hard. I love creativity in people. we are all blessed with talents, and it's our job to make sure we use them as God gave them to us. cathyfrangos @joannef2006 I love your photography on your items. it really shows off your creativity. I've been with Poshmark since 2015 and it has gone through so many changes. Right now, I'm very disappointed in the way it's run. Live shows are killing us old timers! I barely even get a like or two a day anymore, and I have over 150,000 followers! I'm doing nothing different than what I've always done, but all these changes they've implemented in the past year or two have really taken a toll on sales!

I keep reminding myself to just have fun doing this. If I sell some items along the way that’s good…but if I don’t I won’t go hungry and I am meeting some amazing people such as you along the way. ❤️

cathyfrangos @joannef2006 I feel the same way if it sells, it sells. If not it can just sit there. it will eventually sell someday. LOL My life doesn't depend on whether I sell something or not, but I do miss the wonderful interactions they used to have with my buyers. I do have a good following of regular buyers that are always checking my closet for new things.
