60s Gold Lurex Junior Size Dress Sleeveless Bow Trim Union Label XS Homecoming

Party-a-go-go in this glittery gold lurex dress. Sheath style has a round neck and is sleeveless. Welt accent waistline with bows sits just above the natural waist. Above knee length skirt. Back metal zipper and fully lined. Medium weight, non-stretch gold lurex fabric appears to have tiny pieces of glitter embedded throughout. That's the luminous effect of the metallic threads in the weave. There is no care or content tag. Probably a synthetic and hand washable/air dry. There are 2 small rust spots on the front of the skirt, which is common with lurex items (pics 9-10). Otherwise good vintage condition without snags, holes or tears. Smoke free home. Marked Junior size 7, but fits without pinning on a modern size 4 dress form and size 6-ish mannequin. Check measurements against a garment you own to determine fit. Approx. measurements: one side flat pit to pit chest 16.5". 12" waist and 18" at hip. 37" long from back of neck.
