60’s POLLY FLINDERS RED SMOCKED DRESS WITH EMBROIDERY AND LACE TRIM. Back in my day, we could look in the window of the Polly Flinders store in Salem Massachusetts and fantasize about these dresses! They were all so gorgeous, with smocking, embroidery and lace trim details. And too expensive for us.😩😩😭 This is a perfect example. Red cotton/poly bend fabric with the SIGNATURE smocked bodice with embroidered white flowers. Bodice has lace appliqué, Peter Pan collar with more lace trim. Long sleeves have sweet bow ties for closures.Attached self tie belt to tie a big bow. 3 buttons in back.
