Rare!! Vintage 60s 70s Finn Fashions by Stampe maxi length A-line tunic dress. Hand-printed fabric, made in Finland, mid century modern Finnish textile design. 100% cotton. The fabric is heavier than shirting weight, almost like a tablecloth. There is an area of staining; see pics and condition notes at end. Selvedge reads: Printed by E Helenius Oy Sateenkaari Design Pirkko Aimo Fin-Helen No size tag. Fits like an XS/S. Hips and shoulders are on the smaller side proportionally. Because of the unyielding fabric, it just feels smaller than a similarly measured item in a knit or poly. Please consult measurements: Bust 17.75" across Waist 17.50" across Hips 19" across Shoulders 13.75" Center back length 52" Pink and red rainbow gradient design, with horizontal stripes in front that meet as a chevron in back. "Sateenkaari" means rainbow in Finnish. Nehru collar. 7/8 length sleeves. Zips in back. Talon zipper. Very good condition. Please note flaws: Fading and light yellow discoloration on edge of collar and inside on neck facing; hem edge; and on lightest pink bands on the upper body. Yellow spotting all around hem (example shown) with some fabric wear. Cluster of small stains at back of knee (circled). Only light fading to colors overall; they are still quite vibrant.
