My grandparents vacationed in Hawaii, when my grandfather retired in the 60's. They brought back dresses for their two daughters. I actually wore this dress, when I was married in Puerto Rico, 25 years ago. If I could still get into it and if I didn't have five sons (which is why I can't get back into it), no daughters, I'd keep it. The pics don't capture the vibrant colors and crisp lines of the floral, batik pattern. There is some minor wear around the arms and a small flaw down by the hem, as shown. The back is pleated, which adds beautiful detail to the fall of the back. This is a 60-year-old dress in nearly flawless condition! The fabric is cotton and although size is not present, I would guess that it's a Small/4-6.
