This striking statement ring features a big chunk of blue green Chrysocolla, so similar in appearance to turquoise and also mined in Arizona and throughout the Southwest. The Taxco artisan set this lovely abstract cabachon in a smooth bezel surrounded by a carved platform and small accent feather, clearly influenced by the exchange of technique and skills between Mexican and Native American artisans (Navajo and Pueblo) in the early 20th century. Stamped with a regional Taxco Hallmark.
