11thstreet @pegasus1221 Hi thank you for your interest ❤️ Please see the description and title where it states the necklace is 18k gold filled. The base metal is brass. Gold filled jewelry is an affordable and beautiful alternative to solid gold. If you are looking for solid gold, I recommend searching for that and of course the price will be much more expensive (usually hundreds of dollars).
