Sooooo many fake accounts !!! If you buy John Hardy, David Yurman or some different expensive brand, do your research!!! New closet , no love notes even if they had sells. Very low asking price , usually below $200 ..... it is a SCAM!!! THIS ARE SOME OF THE FAKE ACCOUNT AND THERE IS SOOOOO MANY MORE! You will NOT get the item, it's going to be empty box or something cheap inside or will be delivered someplace else because your address is going to be changed. You will not be able to proof that and you will lose the money. It happened to me and more people on poshmark!

lindaboutique @416renata Thanks!!! Once you are aware of the pattern, the fraudulent closets are so obvious. In addition to losing money the whole process is so time consuming for the buyer. 🤞 Poshmark is working on catching them behind the scenes. No signs that it’s happening though. At least we have each other to commiserate :) It does help.

boutiquemodiste Omg! I am dealing with the same thing at the moment. Ordered two John Hardy bracelets really cheap ( should have been a clue) says both got deliver and they are both no where to be found and my neighbors don’t have it . Now am trying to work with Poshmark but I see what is going on. Thank you for posting this. I also realized that most of the fake account now have a following is 141!! And less than 10 items starting price at 180!! 😣

416renata I got scammed too but my package was returned to the sender, they messed my address too much I guess. I didn't do much about that then but know they used my pictures of earrings I sold, that's it I said, you will not scamm people with my pictures!!!!! They blocked me and of course removed my comments, then poshmark deleted the listing because if copy rights 🤬😡🤬😡😠😡 not because of fraud!!! this is steeling!!

lindaboutique @boutiquemodiste I’m so sorry this happened to you too. I suspected it was a scam after I purchased the JH bracelet. I watched the tracking very closely. On the delivery day I waited all day for the mailman. I also signed up for USPS text delivery updates. When the mailman came he didn’t have my package and it hadn’t been delivered yet. I watched him go up our street and sure enough I got the delivered text. They had removed my name and changed the address from 5313 to 5306!

lindaboutique @boutiquemodiste There is a cheap kids craft kit in the package. I show it in my closet @lindaboutique. I only know because I retrieved it from neighbors down the street. They were a little skeptical because I don’t know them well and it had their address but my tracking number.

Not sure why it’s taking so long since I have the picture of the package with my name removed and altered address, correct tracking and order number. I’ll keep you all posted with the result. Poshmark may be slow but I would think they would notice that many people are reporting not receiving a package that shows it was delivered.

nansen77 I've been in this situation twice. The first time the seller sent me tiny bicycle parts instead of John Hardy earrings and the second time they sent me an empty envelope instead of JH necklace. Poshmark returned the money to me and now I do not buy from sellers who have less than a hundred items listed. It's sad that the Posh can't fight this dishonest sellers.

boutiquemodiste @lindaboutique wow. Hope yours get resolved soon. Both of mine are still in review as well. Is so annoying because after I open a case that I didn’t get item, I got a message saying I should rate my seller but am afraid to rate them because if I do they might not refund me? I don’t know why I should rate a seller though case is in review. I avoid shopping on offer up because of stuff like this but I guess is everywhere. Seemed like it has gotten worst on here especially with John Hardy items.

whoogirl Same thing happened to me and said there had been an attempted delivery and had been sent back. LIES!!!! Poshmark did reimburse my money. If you see a super low price for John Hardy or David Yurman RUN! It is not real. Also you will notice they only have a few items on their page and initials for the Posher. IT IS A SCAM! I immediately report them whether I purchase or not. I type SCAM on the comments. I refuse to allow anyone to lose to these sharks. Pay it forward.

I had been made aware of what’s going on and asked to be tagged in all the fraudulent listings so I could help tackle this issue (my listings have been the target of fraud too) and didn’t double check and now I see this listing is simply making people aware of the problem. gems_of_glory @416renata The reporting system is very weak and I don't know if it's because they lack the manpower in customer service, or they really just don't know how to solve these matters. I have been writing to them about price gouging and there's really nothing anyone can do about exorbitant overpriced items being listed that aren't worth a fraction of what they're charging. Irish are getting junk in return.
