This is a great versatile black appaman hooded coat size 7. Pockets on both sizes, zipper up the middle and snap closures. It’s in great condition, other than a tear on the bottom front of the nylon fabric, which can be sown up. Picture of the tear shown. It’s not very noticeable, unless you’re really looking close up. First photos taken outside, second inside but neither photos are edited or have filters.

rachelvictoria The fabric cuffs look stretched and are piling, and the nylon looks discolored, based on the photos - please let me know if I’m wrong? I’m also pretty sure you can’t sew this fabric- you’d need a sewing adhesive patch. I’ve fixed an Appaman jacket like this in the past.

dinaguttenberg @rachelvictoria Hi! Thanks for reaching out. I honestly don’t think the nylon is discolored. I also don’t believe the cuffs are stretched. As for pulling, this jacket is used. My son wore it for 1.5 weeks over winter vacation and it ripped while hiking. I guess you could say the ribbed parts are piling a bit. To me it’s not very noticeable, if at all, but I wouldn’t claim to say what someone else would deem acceptable.

dinaguttenberg I wouldn’t want someone to purchase this thinking it was in perfect condition. Given all that, I do think $15 is a fair price.

dinaguttenberg @friedredroses hi! I’m so sorry it took me a while to get back to you. It’s filled 80% duck down and 20% feathers. The tear measures at 3/4 of an inch. Thanks for your questions! I’ll be sure to be on the lookout to check for any more you may have! Just to let you know if you do want to purchase it, I can sent it out tomorrow morning!

friedredroses Ok. I can't tell from the picture- is the tear on the zipper flap part of the coat in the spot that lines up with the upper seam of the front pockets?
