Relisted -Antique locket Myrtle MC 1901 gold watch case necklace Victorian

Wonderful true antique locket from the Victorian Era. This locket originally housed a watch, which has been lost to time. The front compartment opens up to hold your photo or small keepsakes. The back compartment opens to reveal a sweet engraving "To Myrtle From Friends July 27, 1901". Gold tone metal. Ivy, scrolled vines + leaves, sailboat engravings. The 39.5" long link chain is vintage but added later on, likely 1960s era.. This piece shows its age with lots of wear and patina, but so lovely as is. Measures approx long.
