J Peterman 1947 Long-Sleeve Dress, Shirtwaist, Orangey Coral, size 2. The one dress I hate giving up the worst. Peterman has been making this dress for years and still does. Of course, the price is now $228. This J Peterman Shirtwaist Dress has been an integral part of my wardrobe. It has a swingy late 50’s Donna Reed vibe and has been taken care of lovingly. Professionally laundered and cared for. It’s done afternoon cocktail parties, Mobile Mardi Gras, and spring weddings. I haven’t had the waist for it since we retired, so it’s ready for a new home!!!
