smesikkema Better now than later. We spent $7,000 on my Daughter’s wedding gown, not to mention what everything else cost. I knew the marriage was over when she had the gown cut up to be made into my Granddaughter’s First Communion dress. I have 3 fabulous Grandchildren out of it, but I figure I would have had them regardless, just a different Father! I think many girls just want that big wedding and really aren’t truly in love.

plumbercdave @samanthav0204 it may have been good juju for her. Like Garth Brooks song some of God’s greatest gifts are unanswered prayers. I was pregnant & totally in love with my son’s father. I had my baby & gave him up for adoption. Thank God I missed that bullet. At last count he was on his 7th wife. I was reunited with my son. Less than 6 months after my son’s birth I met an amazing man & was married to him 42 years before his death. Unanswered prayers are the best.
