arichmond22 @vivianslove small laying flat pit to pit is about 14 inches across and medium is about 15 inches across. Waist across laying flat small is about 18 1/2inches and medium is about 19 1/2 inches. Id does flair put a bit. I would confidently say this fits true to size. I hope that helps!
