SUPER-CUTE CROCHETED HAT by Portland Designer Lea (me — lol). Brand new handmade crocheted hats. I make these for therapy. I lose money making them but hope that someone will love my work. I am almost 80 and my hands have begun to shake so won’t be able to make them much longer. Regularly $35, available now for $15 Non-negotiable. Most of these hats take several hours to make and the yarn cost is usually between 10 and 20 dollars. I double reinforce the hats so that they never fall apart ...some designs are even reversible.   I have designed/crocheted hats for over 20 years and sold them all over, particularly at ski lodges which has reached people from all over the world. (I have made over 5,000 hats and donated 1/2 of these to low-income families at local schools). To find out the size of the hat you wear, measure from the back of your head, coming around and bringing the ends of the measuring tape together at the center of your forehead right above your eyebrows to determine your size. The size I put into the description is the hat laying flat so you would double that and compare it to your size. Remember that crocheted hats have a lot of stretch (probably as much as a couple inches). If the yarn wasn’t donated to me, I put the tag to the yarn in there so you can see exactly what it was made out of. If there is no tag then It is always safer washing it by hand and dry on towels. If there is a tag, it will tell you exactly how to wash.
