The rubber strap has definite dry rot so I wouldn't suggest trying to put this on your head as they would probably snap. I imagine someone would replace with a beautiful leather strap. Surprisingly do have the box but it's beat up although it will be included. I did not try to scrub these as I actually appreciate the natural patina to them.
