@itsme6162 Hello! No oil. This humidifier only uses water. If you refresh the post, you'll be able to see a video on how to use this item. I have diffusers in my boutique if you would like something that uses oil. For example, our LOVE, be your own kind of beautiful, and marble grain are all diffusers that you can use with oil. Only one more left in LOVE and be your own kind of beautiful.

Yes. If you want more moisture in the air in your space, then you need a humidifier. A diffuser is appropriate if you only want to add fragrance to the air and not moisture. In both cases, water is used, but a diffuser allows you to add oils (fragrance or essential oils). Oils can permanently damage a humidifier if they are added to it.
