People during the 1970's dreamed about a tropical getaway to the Caribbean just as we do! In the late 1970's, my grandparents took their dream vacation to Aruba. My grandmother purchased this distinctive necklace from a boutique on the island.
This unique necklace features 20 layered strands of tiny seed beads in a variety of colors, including black, navy blue, cream, pink, maroon, green, and gray. The beaded strands also have pearlescent pieces of real seashells in shades of white, ivory, and pink. The 20 layered strands create a bib necklace that is great for a tropical island or tribal vintage look. The sides of the necklace have round silver beads that border silver rod connectors, to give the necklace a nice structure so it doesn't get tangled. There is a single silver hook closure in the back. The shortest strand of beads is 20.5 inches long and the longest is 27.5 inches long. The widest width of the necklace is approximately 3.75 inches. This true vintage 1970's necklace is in impeccable vintage condition, and comes from a smoke and pet free home.
