These GORGEOUS Antique/Vintage, Hand Cast - Mohogany Patinated, Iron Japanese Metal Rabbit SCULPTURES ARE FABULOUS!!!! They are unsigned yet the smaller sculpture still has a in tact & easily readable tag - JAPAN with Mt. Fugi in the background. Silver color tag with Navy Blue Writing. Authentic!!! 1 - Standing up with long upward ears. This sculpture has a small area on its right shoulder that the mahogany patina has worn away. Overall in excellent condition! Please check out last photo. 2 - hunched down with ears down on back. These sculptures are so detailed! The color amazingly rich! Iron seams are in amazing condition! Beautiful muted mahogany colored surface that although is very weighted they are so very smooth and wonderful to the touch! Tall Rabbit is 5” tall x 3.5” wide Hunched Rabbit is 4” long x over 2” long. Approx. I have seen these EXACT pair on 1st dibs & Schneibals Art for $695.00. I have to say ours is in better condition- yet our tall Rabbit has hopped his JAPAN tag off. They come together. When you feel them in your hand you will understand why these are so very special!
