LLBean Work Boots. Steel Toe, Bellows Tongue, Leather, Vibram Sole.Women Size 8.5 Phenomenal work boots. Women's 8.5. (equivalent is a size 7 in men's. These are unisex design & function- so I'm including this for reference) L.L.Bean quality. These are about 20 years old and well cared for. It's better because i broke them in a bit. They are sturdy, heavy weight leather. The belows tongue & ankle is soft leather though. The lace brackets are brass. Cotton laces. I used them as work boots, so there are some scuff marks in the leather., they are superficial though. I always conditioned & sealed the leather too. The bellows tongue is great at keeping out: snow, sawdust, rocks, mud or other work debris. The vibram soles are a sturdy hard rubber, they show some wear, not much. These will be great for any woman (or man) who wants great workboots at a good price. I can't thing of even high end work boot brands that are this quality and functionality. Notice the sewn on sole- it means you can have the soles replaced if you ever need to. All seams are double stitched. Stitched, verses glued makes for footwear that ages better & lasts longer. Water resistant, waterproof if you keep up care. Add your fav insoles if you like. Pair weight 3lb 6 oz. I don't get to use them anymore & they want to be working & protecting your feet.
