lilybook46 @literarygrl I was thinking about you too😊 I went to Colorado the last of July. It was so much fun. I meant to go on this week but it has just been crazy. How have you been?

lilybook46 @literarygrl We went to Estes Park we stayed at the Summit cabins at the YMCA. We traveled to Fort Collins and went whitewater rafting on the Poudre. If I get the chance I told my husband I want to retire there. I would want to be a snowbird bc I don’t know if I would be able to handle the winters lol. A bucket list item of mine is to go snow skiing. My husband went as a teenager and almost broke a leg so he never wants to go back.

literarygrl Oh that sounds great!!!! Fort Collins is where I lived! We left because of how it has changed in 20 years. But we love Estes Park! So you were there during some of the fires! So happy you had a great time!!!

literarygrl @lilybook46 I’m not great at skiing but there are lots of easier slopes. And white water rafting I love!!!!! Although I’ve fallen out twice!

lilybook46 @literarygrl We almost flipped our raft but we made it without losing anyone. I have gone in 3 states now West Virginia, Tennessee and Colorado. I absolutely love it. We did a tree trek aerial course too and that was more nerve racking than the whitewater rafting. I had to keep repeating to myself I’m not going to fall I’m not going to fall 😂

literarygrl You’re a daredevil! Yes, property taxes and home prices went crazy in Fort Collins, they were awful during C, and so many homeless. It was not like that before.

lilybook46 @literarygrl That is awful. That is happening in Florida also the average home around me is $400,000. That is for a 1,500 to 1,800 sq foot. It is just not feasible for a lot of people to own a home and then rent has skyrocketed also. Thank goodness we bought our home right before everything started skyrocketing.

lilybook46 I will try anything once but not skydiving. My mom just turned 77 and she has always wanted to go so if she goes I will probably be right beside her.
