🌺This extremely Rare 1960’s True Vintage PIERRE JACQUES for D’Or Boutique Belted Adjustable Halter-Tie Summer Dress has vibrant raspberry/coral flowers throughout a Horizontal Striped Style. A unique Adjustable Tie Halter. Matching Cloth Belt. The material is incredible…Vintage Viscose. About the Designer/Brand: What I know is it was purchased in a San Francisco Boutique back in the 60’s. I have been researching the Brand/Designer for about 4 months and the closest I can get (See Pic) is that it is possibly Jacques Fath worked w/ Pierre Balmain & Christian Dior, but can not come up with a definite! I did look up D’Or vs. Dior. I know the Dress is special and it possibly is worth a lot of money (but can’t spend any more time on it…If it is, then Good For You!) I already knew the person who lent it to me 25 years ago used to date the drummer of the Grateful Dead and had some amazing experiences around San Francisco in the 60’s. I did ask if the person who lent me the dress wanted it back and she said she wanted it to keep on a journey & I can only imagine the journey’s this dress has had from the beginning. The dress is in excellent condition. I wore it a few times back in the day : ) 100% Viscose/Polyester. The tag says 11 (I assume for Juniors?). To not deceive that it is larger, thought it better to go off the measurements & list as a Small. My measurements are approx.(lying flat & without Stretch): Length 60”with adj. tie halter. Bust 32” Waist 29-30”. Excellent Condition!
