beautiful vintage tailoring quality that fits perfectly into modern quiet luxury
coat was obviously well cared for and is in great vintage condition with some thinning to the fabric from age, mostly at edges
original croc-embossed leather buttons
fully lined (lining feels like silk but there is no material noted)
no size tag (common with vintage items) so please note measurements below

@jesscf @jesscf Hi! I would think so! Vintage garments, especially high-end pieces, are usually easily adjusted by a professional tailor. I am also a US size XXS and this piece is flattering as is with the sumptuous and luxe drape of the material, but I’d bet it would look like a million bucks with a little tailoring 💖

@jesscf I did a quick search regarding coat tailoring and it should be easy on this piece since the lining is open at the bottom and the garment can already be flipped inside out to access the seams!

@jesscf Here’s a description of the tailoring process: “To make a wool coat smaller, the tailor will open the coat’s lining in the side seams or the bottom. The coat will be turned inside out and buttoned up. It will be pinned to your measurements then new seams will be sewed to fit you perfectly. The lining will be stitched back up, and you’ll have the perfect wool coat for your figure!”
