@traybae I’m confused too. Do you mean that lining is a different fabric than the houndstooth? I don’t see any alterations.

This is a vintage piece, that could be confusing. It’s not new. And it’s from a department store that routinely provides fittings for customers. Hopefully, the measurements are helpful.

@traybae what is your familiarity with couture vintage clothing? This is stabilizing interfacing, it keeps the style of the skirt to prevent‘rolling’ of waistline material. It’s on the interior, not visible when worn.
