The shoes are barely worn on the soles or inside of shoe. The shoe closes by a zipper along the side and do not have any other adjustments. There is a small amount of shiny detail along the back of the bootie. There is a very very small heel to the boot and does not give any lift to the walk of the child. Super cute and easy to get on and off!
