True Vintage - Women’s Tailored Tuxedo Jacket

I bought this Vintage Tuxedo Jacket in the late 1990’s and I bought it as “Vintage”. My best guess was made in the late 40’s. It is fitted, still has the original buttons with an extra button inside hem, the tails are not split but more flowing. This item has flaws. There are little holes on the 100% wool jacket where you can see the lining below on back of shoulder, front lapel and inner sleeve. But you need to look for them. Two of which looks like they were “repaired” from the previous owner- see photos - I blew the photos up to show full details of the flaws. I did not try to repair them - since I have no sewing ability. A true lover of Vintage will recognize the cut. 14” across waist (28”) , 30” from shoulder to hem in front (outside of hem since the coat cuts up in the center) 37” from shoulder to the longest part of the “tails” in back, 23” from shoulder seam to cuff (26” if you unfold cuff) 17” armpit to armpit.
