Are these not the original lenses? If not, who replaced them and why?

@roberg7 Hi…When I purchased these, I required prescription lenses, and had them put in. Shortly thereafter, I had my eyes “fixed” through Lasix surgery and no longer need the prescription lenses.
So, the frames have the Rx lenses in them now. I don’t have the original lenses, but I account for the need to get new lenses in the sales price.
Hope this helps! Any other questions/concerns, please let me know.
Thx,
Marc

Hi thanks for the offer. I have a few questions:
- is the frame really black? And the “clear brown acetate” is only in the edge of the stems near your ears?
- are the metal in the front of the frame in silver (chrome) or is it blackened? (Hard to see in pictures)

@tenaciousk71 Thx for your interest. I actually switched this to “Not For Sale.” Just having some second-thoughts on selling them😎. If you are still interested, I can open it back up and answer your questions.
Thx,
Marc

@tenaciousk71 I can actually answer a few: The frames are, indeed, black. Unlike some other JMM frames, these don’t have any “stripes” down the temples. Unfortunately, I’m not sure the answer to the question regarding acetate.
Hope this helps!

@tenaciousk71 The front pins are not blacked-out, however, they do contrast (pins are lighter) with the solid black frame.
I’ll let you know if/when I decide to sell them again.

JMM shop replaces original lenses for $200, which means I will spend a total of $716.62 if I buy yours.
There are online stores selling Molino for $750 and don’t charge tax. So I am only saving about $34.
I hope you can accept my offer. Thanks in advance!

@tenaciousk71 Came far down from over $800. Resale often gets more $$ than the initial sale. I think it’s very fair.
