I crocheted this dark brown Baggie Beanie. This is a short slouch hat made with organic sheep wool from the Isle of Man. The yarn is called Manx Wool because the sheep are Manx sheep grown exclusively on the IOM. Organic, not dyed, but in the natural color of the sheep. The yarn label says: "from the sheep the Vikings left behind." and these are tough, sturdy sheep because the Isle of Man is rocky, hilly, chilly and windy most of the year. I handmade it with tight knit crochet stitches. Wear it as a baggy beanie, a short slouch, roll up the ends to make it a skull cap and give your ears extra warmth. The length measures approx. 12.5" from top to rim. It is about 23-24" around and this runs a comfortable Medium size. Check your sizing. It is warm. The hat needs to be hand washed and You should air dry it flat. The perfect gift for a birthday, Christmas or Hanukkah gift. A present especially for Skaters, joggers, snow boarders, skiers, cycling, hunting, or any outdoor activity. This could be a mans, teens, or a womans hat.
