Vintage cotton Sampler patchwork quilt top. 24 squares, each of a different patchwork pattern. Each square measures 12" x 12"; the sashing is 3"; the border is 3.5". Overall measurements are 65" wide x 94" long. Photographed on a queen size bed. All hand-pieced. (Enlarged closeup photo shows pencil lines on the underside.) We believe this is from the 1960s or '70s. The fabrics in this quilt top appear to have been pre-washed. In perfect condition. No rips, tears, stains, repairs. Ready to become a quilt. Included are 9.5 extra yards of (unwashed) ecru calico fabric (45" wide) for the backing and other projects. Purchased nearly 50 years ago and stored all of these years; climate-controlled, smoke-free home.
