Under the Mannen Bridge at Fukagawa from the series 36 Views of Mount Fuji

Under the Mannen Bridge at Fukagawa (Fukagawa Mannenbashi shita), from the series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji (Fugaku sanjūrokkei) Original print was made by Katsushika Hokusai. This print is an authentic reproduction. I have done some research and believe that this reproduction was made by Ukiyoe Salon. This simple frontal view of the Mannen Bridge admirably expresses the grand monumental character of the bridge. Indeed, as though it were the subject of a portrait, the bridge commands our attention with an impressive sense of dignity.
