A dogwood is Virginia’s state tree and state flower. Ergo, I have a few pieces of dogwood-themed jewelry. Though brooches are somewhat out-dated, I have many. And I usually wear a brooch on the BACK of my blouse/sweater/coat or on the outside edge of a skirt, and I receive lots of compliments.
