Vintage 60s Vanity Fair Lace Nightgown

1960s nylon nightie. Gathered detailing. Sheer. This beauty is true coral colored, but it was so difficult to get it to pick up on the camera, even with color-correcting. There are quite a few flaws on this, including -some small holes near the side hem -seam coming apart at then side hem -the stitch “tack” holding the back neckline together is no longer together -vertical split in one layer of the shoulder “strap”, side ties have been cut off, and -the lace is split on a couple of spots at the under bush on either side. I could be wrong, but I examined the vertical split at the back of the skirt, and I do think it could be original. It’s a clean edge and the pieces appear to overlap at the seams where they meet the back waist seam. Size 36 (estimated modern size M/L) Flat measurements PTP: 17” Waist: 15” Length: 39”
